How does Mailman handle spf/dkim/dmarc? Specifically, does it re-signature originating sender emails not caring whether or not the originating email has proper spf/dkim/dmarc signatures? Or does it NOT re-signature originating sender email, i.e. just pass them through without alteration?

Hyperkitty using wrong email address in archive view

Hi Folks, I notice that for people with multiple email addresses, the email address that appears as the 'FROM' address in the hyperkitty archive is not the primary address, nor is it the address that the email actually came from, but the address that was created first. (Hyperkitty version 1.3.7) When I click on that from address in the archive view, I see all the email addresses for the user -- these do not match up with the ones in the django admin screen from .../admin/account/emailaddress/ When I see 'User profile for Fred Frog' it shows obsolete addresses (not subscribed, not in the Django profile for the user). How can I as administrator get rid of bogus addresses? Or do I have to ask each user to do this? and how can I ensure that the email address displayed in the archive is the primary address, not some address that no longer works? Peter C

Making "Mass subscribe" and "Mass removal" their own buttons in list_nav.html What stupid thing have I done wrong?

I want "Mass subscribe" and "Mass removal" as their own buttons, since I use them so much. I modified nav_list.html. See below. While the new buttons go to the correct page, the buttons don't get highlighted. I believe ootstrap navbar should be assigning "nav-link.active" class to the button that is clicked. But it doesn't. All the other buttons below work correctly. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? hyperkitty_import Unicode Errors

Hello. When running hyperkitty_import to import Mailman 2.1 archives, I frequently get errors like django.db.utils.OperationalError: (1366, "Incorrect string value: '\\xE1\\x90\\xA7\\x0A\\x0AO...' for column `mailman3web`.`hyperkitty_email`.`content` at row 1") Is there a known cause for this? Dear all, in mailman2 there was a setting that ensured that the archives of newly created lists are by default privat ( DEFAULT_ARCHIVE_PRIVATE = 1 Is there something similar in Mailman3? Johannes

Replace "visit your dashboard" with URL link, like in Mailman 2.

Has anybody attempted to change the format of the emails that are sent to the owner of a mailing list, to include a URL, instead of stating "visit your dashboard"? The former is the behavior of Mailman 2. Is there any reason why this can't be done? If nobody has tried to do so yet, I'll give it a try myself, as I'm familiar with django. Hi, today I installed MM3 with Nginx on Debian 11 following the document with a bit of "Mailman 3 installation experience" thrown in (many thanks to the authors!) with some minor changes, i.e. no encryption, and "re_path" instead of "url". I cannot get the web interface to run.
