See <https://gitlab.com/mailman/hyperkitty/merge_requests/200>. In the mean time, to work around this issue on a new install, the simplest change is to just delete the second to last line ``` migrations.RunPython(migrate_social_users), ``` from hyperkitty/migrations/0007_allauth_20160808_1604.py -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. The accounts you are talking about are Django accounts. You cannot create these via CURL to the Mailman core REST API. You might find <https://www.django-rest-framework.org/tutorial/quickstart/> of interest. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. We're not talking bleeding edge here (although the server that supports this list and the python.org lists is bleeding edge). We are talking about installing the current releases from PyPI. Mailman 3 is still relatively young and there are many important features and fixes in the current releases that aren't in the Debian/Ubuntu packages. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. I looked around in the UI for it but did not see it. It started with my latest server upgrade. As list owner I get 50+ of these messages every morning and my modertors each get only one, but don't like it. This is `mailman notify` <https://docs.mailman3.org/projects/mailman/en/latest/src/mailman/commands/d…> run by cron. > I still don't see a link for my moderators to see the membership lists even though the lists are set to allow it. Is that among the planned bug fixes? This is <https://gitlab.com/mailman/postorius/-/issues/369>. There is an abandoned MR at <https://gitlab.com/mailman/postorius/-/merge_requests/423> but see the recent notes. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. If that fails, you could always find the offending message in the database maybe with a query like ``` SELECT * FROM hyperkitty_email Where subject LIKE 'http://www.google.com/url?q=\%68\%74\%74%'; ``` and modify or delete it - it's probably spam anyway. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. It results from mailman-hyperkitty < 1.2.0 in combination with HyperKitty >= 1.3.5 -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. by Mark Sapiro

So, that shouldn't be related to the default limit of 50 with find_lists. Otherwise, at least some lists should be displayed. If you are saying no lists are shown when the user selects "all", is it possible that no lists are advertised? I.e., all lists have Settings -> List Identity -> Show list on index page = No. If that is not the case the advertised list should be shown on the "all" view or when not logged in. I don't see an issue at <https://lists.mailman3.org/mailman3/lists/> or <https://mail.python.org/mailman3/lists/>. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. I just reported it at <https://gitlab.com/mailman/postorius/-/issues/465>. There are a couple of workarounds. Assuming the list's preferred language is Greek (el), You can put the template in Mailman's var/templates/lists/<list-id>/el/ directory (creating it if necessary and ensuring it's readable by the Mailman user. You can set ``` [language.master] charset: utf-8 ``` in mailman.cfg to change the default character set from ascii to utf-8 -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. The ban list can't be used in this way. A banned address can't be subscribed by any means including admin action. And even if an admin temporarily removes the ban, subscribes the address and then restores the ban, the now banned member can't post. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B.
