One of the issues was a basic networking problem -- mailman in the container wasn't able to talk to Postfix on the host. Rebooting the host cleared that up. Side note: There are no details in the docker instructions about how to upgrade the containers to newer versions. Easy upgrades was a big reason why I wanted to use the Ubuntu packages. Upgrading other packages has always been pretty straightforward. I'm using Apache, not nginx. It was already installed, and I know more about configuring it than nginx. It wasn't too difficult to set up Apache to proxy over to uwsgi running in the web container. I had to work out the config myself ... the docker instructions only have a config example for nginx. Email isn't very interactive, but works. You can find me on the IRC channel for the next few days if you want something faster. If you want to try the docker method, I can try to help. Thanks, Shawn

Hi Jonathan, For what it's worth, I am a mailman user who monitors this list. I don't know anything about hosting mailman but I act as administrator for several small lists. Our lists are hosted by EMWD and they seem to be working properly. The last message I received from EMWD was from Barbara Carpenter. On 11/5/2021 she sent a message announcing new owners' names. I am able to log in to the client portal and it appears that you can still submit support tickets through that site. Hello Again, Turned out, there was an issue with a vendored JS library in Hyperkitty 1.3.4rc1. Also, someone requested another release of Core for a couple of bugfixes that have landed in master since the last release in November. I have just released Hyperkitty 1.3.4rc2 and Maiman Core 3.3.3rc1. I first thought of "language chanpions" that could take care of syncing the .po files from Weblate to the replease repository. But then, that involves human availability, which is not an abundant asset in open source projects. Then, my brains went into "crazy mode", why do notuse the power of Python and the net. Maybe we can get someone (GSoC student) to write code that, given a .po file uses Google translation to check that the resulting string in the target language means more or less the same as the original English string on the .po file?
