MM3 List Templates

I am reading https://wiki.list.org/DOC/Mailman%203%20installation%20experience regarding templates and I am confused about whether to treat the path /opt/mailman/mm/var/templates/*site*/en/ literally or even if that information is still relevant. Thank you, that worked! Now all my addresses are clean. Still, don't you think this should be possible via Postorius, or by some mailman cli command, like mailman rename_member <old> <new> It happened I had still the patched cli_members.py where I had both the old and new line active: print(formataddr((address.display_name, address.original_email)), file=outfp) print(f'{address.display_name} <{address.original_email}>', file=outfp) The first (old) line still produces the output with utf-8 codes. Is this to be expected? Anyway, I comment that line out and everything works fine. Happ new year again!

Error downloading CSV for 1,300 members

Any suggestions on troubleshooting downloading a modest-size CSV file for a list with 1,300 members? Clicking "CSV Export" on smaller lists works fine, but on this larger list I get this error in mailman-web.log: Thu Feb 23 10:03:32 2023 - uwsgi_response_write_body_do(): Broken pipe [core/writer.c line 429] during GET /mailman3/postorius/lists/ members.list.ocdla.org/csv_view/ (172.31.54.89) OSError: write error --------------------- José Bernal Web/Application Engineer Cell 541-228-8481 jbernal.web.dev(a)gmail.com

Held messages page not rendering the message

Hi When the list moderator goes to the held_messages page, they correctly get a list of the held messages and can accept/reject/discard them However, clicking on the individual message to read it doesn't work - it does nothing visible at all. From debug I can see it requests /mailman3/postorius/api/list/<list>/held_message/1/ which returns correctly (and the body includes the message as expected) - but it never renders it Any idea what could be wrong? Question about whitlisting a domain for specific mailing list

Hi All, I need to whitelist a domain for a specific mailing list on your platform. Only *(a)example.com email addresses should be allowed to post messages to this list. Could you please provide me with documentation or instructions on how to achieve this? I have already searched the knowledge base and user manuals without success. I believe it was previously available in mailman2 via Accept_these_nonmembers attribute. But I cannot find this attribute anywhere on postorius. I am using mailman 3.2.2 Any help would be really appreciated. Best regards, -- *ZA*

Email discard

Hi I have a good working mailman3 list server with 3 mailing lists. 2 of them work OK, but 1 has a little odd behaiver If a non member send an email it will discard while the setting in /postorius/lists/list.name.nl/settings/message_acceptance shows Hold for moderation A snip from var/mailman3/mailman.log Apr 01 10:48:32 2023 (49342) DISCARD: <4359976d-d4bb-9b30-0901-c842aa1fecb3(a)xs4all.nl>; ['The message is not from a list member'] Changing and saving a other choice makes no difference. Where can I look more to find a solution? (in mysql?) Peter
