In the first case, mail is delivered to Mailman, but then something happens to it before it is archived and delivered. Look in /var/log/mailman3/mailman.log and wherever Mailman's qfiles are in the Debian install. This says Postfix received a RCPT command from 98.199.98.177. It looks like it comes from Mailman, i.e., the envelope sender loogs like a Mailman VERPed address <booh-bounces+csgeek=domain.com(a)lists.domain.org> for a message to <csgeek(a)domain.com> and that is the envelope recipient and the sender identified itself in EHLO as [127.0.1.1]. So Postfix thinks it is asked to relay from 98.199.98.177 to domain.com. Note that 98.199.98.177 is a Comcast network IP. It has nothing to do with gmail. So is the connect comes from Mailman on the Postfix machine, why does Postfix think it comes from 98.199.98.177. I am a few weeks behind at the moment, but I basically am running the heads of the master branches as described at <https://wiki.list.org/x/17891998>, so I am unable to see what you see. When the message is handled on the first list, it is removed from the database and this is not available on the second list. The subject list exists and I think is configured appropriately. It is currently unadvertised. I am ready to advertise it and announce it. I have both Google and Facebook OAuth2 login working and advertised along with Persona on the login page. I have removed Yahoo from the login page because we don't yet have DMARC mitigations and I don't want to encourage Yahoo addresses. Twitter OAuth2 almost works, but it doesn't return email address. Rumor has it you can't get email from Twitter, so it can't work. Things that need to be fixed soon in core are confirmation required for email unsubscribe <https://gitlab.com/mailman/mailman/issues/213> and DMARC mitigations, but I think we can open it up and announce it. The database contains data for all lists, so backing up all lists would be a backup procedure for the database which depends on the database manager, i.e., sqlite, MySQL/MariaDB or PostgreSQL. A procedure to backup/restore a single list would require a script to extract/restore the data for that list from the DB.
