Can you activate your venv, run python and successfully ``` import cmarkgfm from cmarkgfm.cmark import Options as cmarkgfmOptions ``` If you can't do either, cmarkgfm is not properly installed in the venv. If you can do the first, but not the second, there is a compatibility issue between readme_renderer and cmarkgfm 0.8.0. Did you upgrade from a Python 2.7 version of HyperKitty to a Python 3 version? The Haystack/Whoosh search engine databases are not compatible between the two and "A string literal cannot contain NUL (0x00) characters." is the symptom. It checks if there is one and only adds if there isn't, so it has to be some kind of race condition, possibly caused by inadvertently double-clicking a button or link. The venv will still run whatever Python it was built with. That's what virtualenvs are for - to isolate the software therein from external changes. If you are referring to the bounceevent table in the database, it would be OK to remove all the entries for which `processed` is True. If you are referring to messages in Mailman's bounces queue, if these are not processed and removed within 15 minutes of arrival, Mailman's bounce runner is not running.
