I was looking at this myself the other day, and I hadn't finished my analysis, but it appears the only autoresponder that is actually implemented is autorespond requests. The others have apparently never worked in Mailman 3. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Dylan

This should resolve itself eventually if you are running the Django periodic jobs, but to fix it you can manually run your_django_admin_command runjob recent_threads_cache which is a daily job which refreshes the recent threads cache. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. See <https://pypi.org/project/django-utils-six/> for a work around replacement. David Newman wrote: > https://${domain}/mailman3/lists/${short_listname}.${domain}/ FYI, ${short_listname}.${domain} is the same as ${list_id} Also, ${domain} as the web site address may not be appropriate. For example, on this list $domain is `mailman3.org`, but the base URL for Postorius is `https://lists.mailman3.org/mailman3` and `https://mailman3.org/mailman3` doesn't work. There is no replacement for the web domain if it's different from the email domain for the same reason that there are no web URLs in the default templates. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Why is it not using the template I created? Is the template you placed in /opt/mailman/mm/var/templates/lists/kictanet.lists.kictanet.or.ke/en/ named list:user:action:subscribe.txt and does Mailman have permission to read it? Did you try to create a template in Postorius? The templating system and templates have been changed. In the mean time, you can make a custom version of the welcome.txt template for the site, domain or list. See mailman/templates/en/welcome.txt for the default template. A custom template can be put in var/templates/site/en/welcome.txt or var/templates/domains/example.com/en/welcome.txt or var/templates/lists/listname.example.com/en/welcome.txt where var is Mailman's configured var_dir. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B.
