Unable to remove non-member

Hi Everyone, I ran across a strange issue today. A client reported the inability to remove a non-member in the following format: z_email/domain.org.za(a)domain.org.za The reported error from Postorius was: "The user could not be removed" I used https://verifalia.com/validate-email to validate the email address and it is syntactically correct. -- Brian Carpenter Harmonylists.com Emwd.com

Internal Server Error on installing Mailman 3 using PIP

Dear Mark, As you have suggested in my earlier issue, I have implemented the latest stable version of mailman 3 through the URL https://docs.mailman3.org/en/latest/install/virtualenv.html#virtualenv-inst… . But after the installation through the above URL, when I tried running the command *elinks http://localhost:8000/postorius/lists <http://localhost:8000/postorius/lists>* or *elinks http://localhost:8000/admin <http://localhost:8000/admin>*, I got the error as *Internal Server Error*. I don't find any specific log in mailman.log or in mailmansuite.log. Is there any way to solve this issue ? -- Thanks & Regards, Shashi Kanth.K 9052671936

mailman-suite: Error 500 on Lists /setting/ pages

I just installed Mailman3 (mailman-suite) on my Server following these instructions: https://lab.uberspace.de/guide_mailman-3.html and everything works fine so far. I can create lists, subscribe people and send mails through lists but when I click the settings button and get redirected to /postorius/lists/listname/settings/ i get an Error 500 message. I couldn't find anything in the logs except the uwsgi log: [pid: 20568|app: 0|req: 62/62] 100.64.115.1 () {48 vars in 1052 bytes} [Wed Nov 18 16:27:59 2020] GET /postorius/lists/listname/settings/ => generated 1102 bytes in 1438 msecs (HTTP/1.1 500) 6 headers in 209 bytes (1 switches on core 0)

12/24 hour clock ?

Hi all at openSUSE we have recently migrated to mailman3, and we seem to be having a couple of teething issues: a) hyperkitty and postorius both seem to insist on using a 12 hour clock format, no matter what the user has set. Is there a way of changing it system-wide ? b) overriding the default set of footers - despite having set the template "list:member:regular:footer" to empty for a specific list, I am still getting the default footers attached. We are using version 1.3.3. thanks Per Jessen

mailman3 OWNERS_CAN_ENABLE_PERSONALIZATION option

I am trying to change email "To" field to user's email instead of mailing list's email. e.g. "To: <user(a)gmail.com>" instead of "To: <mailman-users(a)mailman3.org>" I looked around old mailman configs they mentioned about adding OWNERS_CAN_ENABLE_PERSONALIZATION option in mm_cfg.py is this feature still available in mailman3 ? Can I do it via Postorius or REST API? Thanks.

You should also be looking at mailman.log and your Django log (as configured in settings.py) BTW, is archiving enabled for the list?
