Unsubscribe from a list

Hello, When a list member sends an email to list-leave@... to unsubscribe from a list, neither the moderators nor the list owners receive it. Only the person who sent the email receives a confirmation email.

It depends on the settings you have for the particular list. In the list Settings -> Member Policy -> Un-Subscription Policy, you can choose one of the options:
- Open
- Confirm
- Moderate
- Confirm then Moderate
What those options do is documented below that dropdown box.

Then you must have Postorius < 1.3.3 which was released almost 5 years ago. The latest release is 1.3.13. See https://docs.mailman3.org/projects/postorius/en/latest/news.html - You should consider upgrading.

If you want admins to be notified of unsubscribes set Notify admin of membership changes to Yes.
If you want admins to need to approve unsubscribes, see Odhiambo's reply.
