and everything works fine so far. I think that uwsgi log message just refers to the delivery of the error page to your browser.
What other logs are you looking at? There should be something in Mailman core's mailman.log or the Django log whose location is defined in settings(-local).py, probably mailman-suite/logs/mailmansuite.log.
