Mailman can import archives where the messages are in a Unix format mbox file. It appears sympa can export archives as a zip file containing monthly files of messages <https://sympa-community.github.io/manual/customize/archives.html>.
If these files are in Unix mbox format, HyperKitty's hyperkitty_import function can import them directly, either individually or concatenated.
If not, they would need to be processed to add Unix From lines and
possibly make other changes. In any case, the mbox to be imported should
be checked for unescaped From lines in message bodies with a script
such as the one at <https://www.msapiro.net/scripts/cleanarch3>.
