[MM3-users] Re: External MTA incoming mail: configuration

Just like https://docs.mailman3.org/projects/mailman/en/latest/src/mailman/docs/mta.h… or https://docs.mailman3.org/en/latest/install/virtualenv.html#setup-mta only on the remote MTA. This requires copying the var/data/postfix* files from the Mailman server to the remote MTA server which can be automated as mentioned earlier in this thread. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. You must stop and then start as opposed to restart. If lmtp runner is not running after that check /var/log/mailman3/mailman.log for possible reasons. You can also check that log for reasons why it isn't currently running. You can also check /var/log/syslog* for events like out_of_memory that might have killed it. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. You could put them in Mailman's static/ directory and reference them with a /static/... URL. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Dylan

I'm not sure if it's relevant, but we have issues with the latest django-allauth 64.0. django-mailman3 now pins the requirement at `>=0.63,<0.64` (it should be `<64.0` but `<0.64` has the same effect). -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Django (web) accounts (Postorius and HyperKitty) are separate from Mailman core. Users inported from MM 2.1 do not have web accounts. They have to sign up, not request a password reset. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Dylan
