This is a bug. See <https://gitlab.com/mailman/postorius/-/issues/369> Mailman 3.3.2 has an email `who` command that enables list members to get a membership list if the visibility allows it. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. How did you create this footer?. If you created it by creating a file in Mailman's var/templates directiory, can Mailman read it? -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. There were breaking changes in the API which is why there are multiple versions, but a client can still use version 3.0 if it works for the client. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. You should also be looking at mailman.log and your Django log (as configured in settings.py) BTW, is archiving enabled for the list? It should be populated with things like [] hyperkitty [] prototype with a check box for each archiver for which `enable` is `yes` in the corresponding `archiver.xxx` section in mailman.cfg. What does `bin/mailman conf -k enable` show? -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Dylan

Mailman runs with its own user. Since these files and directories were created automatically, I expected that these would have been created with the correct permissions. You ran the hyperkitty_import job for these lists as root. It needs to be run as the Mailman user. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Dylan
