[MM3-users] Re: Thread IDs on messages incrementing per reply?

Is there a way to oerhaps custom-plugin my way through to set this up as an integration into Core? And specify the custom handler process or such to allow that integration? I see that there are ways to code plugins into existence so it may be a custom-processor plugin or such for this purpose. Replies to threads would still have the corresponding RFC headers and such for replies and would properly get Hyperkitty to index threads properly, but subject munging on this case might be something I would custom-code into the system if that's doable. I thought I could not configure Mailman, but with Kyle and Mark help and support I could. So, I don't want to be demeaning as you also said but maybe we could try, maybe you can also help, if it turns too complicated I will use mailchimp, but let me try before givin' up, don't you think?? I'll go check the issue, but let me say I think a confirmation screen is bad UI here. People who know what they're doing shouldn't have to pay the price of a confirmation screen. I know of at least two universities where they "unsubscribe all" from thousands of class mailing lists every term. Of course they automate that pretty quickly when they get to thousands, but it seems plausible to me that such lists for groups that regularly turn over (nearly) 100% of subscribers are a reasonably common use case. Instead, there should be a check for selected users, either disabling the "unsubscribe all" button itself (if we decide to implement more Javascript in the UI) or presenting the confirmation screen if there are any selected users. Also, at least for native speakers, "Unsubscribe everyone" will probably be a better label for the button.
