Hi, unfortunately we still have problems configuring a list so that it allows a message size larger than 40 KB. Neither the workaround described here: https://gitlab.com/mailman/postorius/commit/f86ab7fb5cc6edeb23c43336b677c24… (required was already set to false) nor this docker setup by yova https://gitlab.com/mailman/postorius/issues/246 worked. Are there any other options we could try? Thanks! I still made mistakes, multiple times, but at least I was no longer fighting with two installations that do things differently. dn

Users who are born later than my generation are sometimes confused and misinterpret those settings. Mark, You were 100% right for fixing. I was not sure what the language setting were on list creating, but one of the lists was created a day ago and I was doubt about it a little. So I made test: I have checked that default language is lt, and then I created the new list for testing. I had language issues with the HTML as well. Your recipe helped to resolve the issue. :) I fixed all my lists. Postfix was not happy with the default email for the admin (<root@localhost>) since I had an operational virtual map for users. That connection error disappeared when I added a functioning admin email address. There are other issues, however. (1) Mailman refuses to resolve to a preferred subdomain. To solve the problem I had to remove VHOST parameter from config file. I remember that Vhost was mandatory for my configuration when I set it up two month ago. So I don't understand why now I had to remove it to have MM3 working. But it seems that the problem is not database related. As far as I can see is about some missing properties in the "REST" process from 3.3.2 to 3.3.3 or maybe some template is not well upgraded even I did a "migrate" command. I installed mailman 3 in 24th of last december, with 3.3.2 version and all worked as expected. It's my first upgrade. >

Thanks very much for the recipe. I had been trying (and failing) to do something similar using the mailmanclient API / rest client. Does anyone happen to have a working example of updating user preferences via mailmanclient? I did call save(), after setting preferences['delivery_status']='enabled', but that seemed to not be enough. If no-one has a working example I can try to reconstruct a more precise reproducer. d P.S. I wonder if it would be worth collecting some of these recipes on the list as examples in the documentation?
