Prior to flufl-bounce 4.0, it would run all detectors on every message to the -bounces address. Beginning with 4.0, it runs the detectors in a defined order from most specific/authoritative to least. So the real question is why are you seeing large numbers of bounces. Since it appears they are recognized by `DSN`, they probably aren't spam to the -bounces address. Do you have verp probes enabled (verp_probes = yes in the mta section of mailman.cfg)? The issue is that neither Postorius or HyperKitty as a direct way of getting lists by web host as the web host information is not an attribute of the list. We have to see which mail hosts are associated with the current web host and then display only those lists that match one of those mail hosts. The issue with Postorius is if there was more than one mail host associated with the web host, this code https://gitlab.com/mailman/postorius/-/blob/master/src/postorius/views/list… could be relatively easily made to work by extending all_lists to include all the mail hosts, but it wasn't clear to me how to fix https://gitlab.com/mailman/postorius/-/blob/master/src/postorius/views/list… in the case where there was more than one mail host. The default search path for templates in the absence of a template table entry (or even with one with a mailman:/// URI) includes the var/templates/lists/list_id directory. is this directory leftover from migrating from mailman 2 to 3? No I have a list admin who has made some head and footer files and wants me to put them in /var/templates/lists/[listNAME]/en/.... but I think that may not be the best option. Again, it's up to you. I.e. it's the same for hash and regexp table updates. I wonder why you are manually running `mailman aliases`. This really shouldn't be necessary as the files are regenerated automatically as lists are created and removed. As far as performance of regexp vs hash tables, I have no idea. Also, putting ``` LANG=en_US.UTF-8 ``` near the beginning of the crontab may be required in some cases. Thank you for the tip. In the end I changed mailman/runners/bounce.py instead by moving the maybe_forward line so that it is always run. Smaller change (just removing one indention level) and preserves the handling.
