You can only update the display name, the verified status of the address and the moderation and delivery mode of subscriptions. No, there aren't "hidden settings" The relevant settings are filter_content filter_extensions filter_types pass_extensions pass_types collapse_alternatives convert_html_to_plaintext These are exactly analogous to the MM 2.1 settings filter_content filter_filename_extensions filter_mime_types pass_mime_types pass_filename_extensions pass_mime_types collapse_alternatives convert_html_to_plaintext and should behave the same way. You can subscribe by email by sending a blank message to <mailman-users-join(a)mailman3.org> and responding to the resulting confirmation request. You can also subscribe by going to the info page at <https://lists.mailman3.org/mailman3/lists/mailman-users.mailman3.org/>, logging in and subscribing. Log in offers three options. There are Google and Facebook OAuth2 login links on the log in page to log in with a Google or Facebook account, and there is a 'Login by email' link to login via Persona with any address you register and confirm with Persona. To reiterate, go to the held messages view. Click the subject of the message, pull down the `--- Set member moderation ---` dropdown and select `Default processing` or if you really want to bypass additional checks, `Accept immediately (bypass other rules)`, and click the `Discard` button. It doesn't matter that the address wasn't known beforehand.
