To use --run, you need to import those. I have attached msgs_del.py which will run with --run. It incorporates the test for msg not None (thank you), makes a minor variable name change (file -> fn) and adds a print of the number of files removed. It has my path to var/messages hard coded, so that may need to be changed. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. If so, is some firewall blocking that connect? We are waiting for a response from the MTA to the connect and it never comes, Even if [mta] settings like smtp_user: smtp_pass: smtp_secure_mode: smtp_verify_cert: smtp_verify_hostname: are somehow not correct or appropriate, we don't seem to be getting that far. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. I look at the mail log on the host and I do not see the smtp connections. I assume Django is not using the docker host but sending the mail directly?? > > Basically, where can I see the password email rest mail logs to make sure an email was sent out and where it is going? I can't answer that question, but you can set an admin user and password with the django admin createsuperuser command. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. The default action for "Default antispam action" is "hold" but you can change that to "accept" by setting ``` jump_chain: accept ``` in the [antispam] section of mailman.cfg, however current Postorius offers "Accept immediately (bypass other rules)" as a choice for the Header Filters action. If you go to <https://lists.mailman3.org/archives/list/mailman-users@mailman3.org/> and look around the archives you will see that all users have some sort of graphic image associated with them. In many cases such as yours, the image is just a rudimentary silhouette, but others have a picture or other graphic. Those are things the user has published at gravatar.com. You can disable them by setting GRAVATAR_SECURE_URL = '' in your local settings. See <https://github.com/twaddington/django-gravatar> Setting the URL to the null string is not completely satisfactory as there will still be a 'missing image' where the image used to be, but it should remove references to secure.gravatar.com. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Postorius displays only plain text of a held message with HTML and images shown as attachments, and clicking an HTML attachment link will download the HTML and what happens depends on the browser, but if there are image parts referenced in the HTML, they will be separate links to download and won't render along with the HTML. However, is the list is set to notify the moderators of held messages, the notice will imclude the entire message which should render properly in the moderator's MUA. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. The catching of the "MailingList.DoesNotExist" exception and logging "MailingList with name xxx does not exist" was recently added and will be released in HyperKitty 1.3.5. Apply the patch to hyperkitty/tasks.py from https://gitlab.com/mailman/hyperkitty/-/merge_requests/341/diffs which should replace the uwsgi-error.log entries with the one line entries in mailmanweb.log. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B.
