Easy with phpmyadmin or adminer... Of course you can do that if that's where the typo is. The actual display name you see may be the one in the `address` table, or it may be the one in the `user` table depending on whether the subscription is by address or by user. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. See this thread https://lists.mailman3.org/archives/list/mailman-users@mailman3.org/thread/… If they don't have an outstanding subscription waiting user confirmation, you can just mass subscribe them. If they do and your Postorius and Mailman core is reasonably up to date, you can find the pending request at Subscription requests -> Pending Confirmation, delete it and then mass subscribe them. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. [MM3-users] Re: Is there a way to see all the list's held messages

On 10/11/22 07:04, bob B via Mailman-users wrote: > I run mailman but do not admin the lists. Is there a way for me to see all the held messages for all the lists? There are various things you can do depending on what you want. Does 'I run mailman' mean you are an admin of the server on which it is installed? If so, you can do this in `mailman shell`, but what do you want to see? I.e., just a summary by list of subject, sender and hold reason or also the message content. Also, the Django superuser has full admin access to all the lists and again depending on what you want, that may suffice. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. This thread <https://lists.mailman3.org/archives/list/mailman-users@mailman3.org/thread/…> is about timeouts when downloading archives, but the same considerations apply. To increase the worker timeout for uwsgi, set the harakiri option. It is not the subscription that requires confirmation. It is the user's email address. Even though the list's subscribe policy is open, a previously unknown email address has to be confirmed. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. The issue is the recipient's ooo responder is 1 responding to the envelope sender rather than the From: address. 2 responding to a message with Precedence: list. Both these are wrong. The resultant message to the list-bounces address is an unrecognized bounce because it doesn't look like any known DSN. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> Sent from my Not_an_iThing with standards compliant, open source software.

You need both pymysql and mysqlclient. The former is used by Mailman core and the latter by Django. These can be installed with pip via pip3 install pymysql pip3 install mysqlclient or apt via apt install python3-pymysql python3-mysqldb -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. This is a Django issue, not Mailman per se. The migration that's failing is django/contrib/contenttypes/migrations/0001_initial.py. A brief search seems to indicate that this won't work with NSS FIPS. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. What if you try ``` curl -X POST http://127.0.0.1:8000/hyperkitty/api/mailman/archive ``` and ``` curl -X POST https://127.0.0.1:8000/hyperkitty/api/mailman/archive ``` (Does Nginx proxy to uWsgi as http or https?) -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B.
