Because the image part had a filename with a .png extension and you have Allow Extensions .zip .7z so parts with filename with other than those 2 allowed extensions will be removed. That allow extensions won't do what you want anyway because they will have mime type like application/zip and application/x-7z-compressed and you aren't allowing those. Allow extensions should not be set because if it is non-empty, any part that has a filename with an extension not in that list will be removed. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Is there something additional that needs to be done to show the previous years and months in the sidebar? Are you running the periodic Django jobs? See <http://docs.mailman3.org/en/latest/config-web.html#scheduled-tasks-required> There have been and probably still are, depending on version, issues in this area. Many of these issues are fixed by the some of the Django periodic jobs python /path/to/manage.py runjob xxx where xxx is cache_cleanup daily_cleanup orphan_emails thread_order_depth and thread_starting_email. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. If you want to see the user's email address directly in the thread or message view, that is what will be displayed if the original message's From: contained only the address with no display name, but otherwise, there's no config setting for this. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. This is not expected. I don't see it on the instances I manage. In the `static` directory, I see ``` $ du -h -d 1 1.7M ./admin 12K ./facebook 68K ./django_extensions 4.0K ./browserid 68K ./django-mailman3 2.6M ./postorius 12K ./paintstore 1.6M ./rest_framework 5.2M ./hyperkitty 404K ./CACHE 12M . $ find -type f|wc 401 401 18253 ``` I think when you run the Django admin `collectstatic` command, you need to specify the `--clear` option. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Since 3.3.5, Mailman 3 runs the separate gatenews process via a periodic task within its own processes and no longer relies on cron. Mailman does not have an NNTP client for accessing messages within Mailman. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. There is no Mailman command to do this, but a Python script is very simple. Something like ``` from mailbox import Maildir, mbox mb = mbox('path/to/mbox', create=False) md = Maildir('path/to/maildir', create=False) for msg in mb: md.add(msg) mb.close() md.close() ``` -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Am I right in thinking that a UI configured template will override the ones in that directory tree? That is correct. Creating a template in Postorius will put an entry for that template in the template table in the database with a URI pointing to Postorius and that is where Mailman core will go to find that template. However, it you delete that template from Postorius, that will remove the entry from the template table, and absent that, Mailman core will fall back to default search rules. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B.
