This was added in Mailman 3.3.1 by https://gitlab.com/mailman/mailman/-/merge_requests/587 The fix for https://gitlab.com/mailman/mailman/-/issues/1062 doesn't affect this if you aren't using ipython. Do you have a setting for `banner` in the `[shell]` section of your mailman.cfg? -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. This is a different issue. See https://gitlab.com/mailman/mailman/-/issues/1231 The template is not removed from the cache until the next run of the task runner which defaults to running every hour. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. The prototype archiver stores messages individually in var/archives/prototype/LIST_NAME/. You can disable the prototype archiver by putting [archiver.prototype] enable: no in your mailman.cfg. To disable all archiving, just remove all the [archiver.*] sections from your mailman.cfg or set them to 'enable: no' -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. It should be something like mailman inject -f your_file listname.example.com You could also specify `-q in` but that's the default. What does the message in your_file look like? Does it have a complete set of headers including To:, From:, Subject:, Date: and Message-ID:, and is To: the list posting address? -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. I could do it by viewing the web interface but we have a lot of lists. With mailman shell: ``` $ mailman shell Welcome to the GNU Mailman shell Use commit() to commit changes. Use abort() to discard changes since the last commit. Exit with ctrl+D does an implicit commit() but exit() does not. >>> for mlist in getUtility(IListManager): ... mlist.dmarc_mitigate_action = DMARCMitigateAction.munge_from ... >>> commit() -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Do you find any clues in the logs at /opt/mailman/mm/var/logs/? Particularly mailman.log for core and mailmansuite.log for Postorius and Hyperkitty. This is a fake DSN that is generated when Mailman's attempt to send a bounce probe results in a failure from the MTA to which Mailman delivers. You can also set `LANGUAGE_CODE` in settings_local.py to set a default for the installation <https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/4.1/ref/settings/#language-code>. Not that all of this requires that the appropriate compiled message catalogs exist. This requires running the Django admin `compilemessages` command. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Dylan
