Sorry, my statement above is wrong. That should also remove the pdf, but it's redundant given that 'application/pdf' is not in pass_types. > Actually, what's m.filter_content? I wound up taking a different approach. I check for other references to the message in the message store and only delete the message if there are none. You may need to do ``` export DJANGO_SETTINGS_MODULE=settings export PYTHONPATH=/path/to/directory/containing/settings.py ``` before running the Django admin command. These can also be given as --settings and --pythonpath options to the Django admin command. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. You could try. Did you see the post at <https://lists.mailman3.org/archives/list/mailman-users@mailman3.org/message…>? I'll probably update the script again. I have updated the script again. I.e., in both cases the Xapien search index is on the order of twice as big as the PostgreSQL database. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Also note that the above is a django_admin shell interaction. You can also do this in python, but you need to precede the above with ``` >>> import os >>> import sys >>> sys.path.insert(0, '/path/to/directory/containing/settings.py') >>> os.environ['DJANGO_SETTINGS_MODULE'] = 'settings' >>> import django >>> django.setup() ``` -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. See https://gitlab.com/mailman/mailman/-/issues/258 > That kinda sucks for this user. Yes it does. I *think* the user could just copy <https://gitlab.com/mailman/mailman/-/blob/master/src/mailman/commands/cli_n…> to the installed mailman/commands/ directory to implement the `mailman notify` command. This also requires copying <https://gitlab.com/mailman/mailman/-/blob/master/src/mailman/templates/en/l…> to the installed mailman/templates/en/ directory. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B.
