[MM3-users] Re: Mailman 3 Privacy Policies, GDPR, etc and social logins

Is this going to be a constantly unraveling thread of future GDPR and Right to Be Forgotten troubles, since there doesn't seem to be an easy way to scrub a subscriber from Hyperkitty archives if they request so? How have others addressed this situation? I use https://www.list.org/privacy.html which appears to satisfy Facebook. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. [MM3-users] Re: Question: as Admin, I disabled the self-registration via settings.py. What is the correct method to register a few new users now?

You can add Users and their email addresses via the Django admin web ui normally at a url like https://example.com/admin/ but see your top level urls.py. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Postorius Users -> Members view has a CSV Export button. That exports a CSV with all the member addresses. It's actually just a flat list as it only has one column. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Dylan

I agree. I think at this point if you can't solve this by disabling or configuring SELinux, you should be using Fedora support resources to ask why your systemd service does not seem to honor `User=`. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Does the actual file have a .txt extension. It needs that even though the uri in the template table doesn't have that. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. You are a member of this list, mailman-users(a)mailman3.org. It is a standard, mailman3 list albeit it runs on the latest, pre-release software. You have now posted twice to this list and I think this is the third reply to your posts. What is it you are looking for with "someone invite us to temporarily join their group" beyond what you have as a member of this list? -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Presumably this is list mail so your list copy should be the same except for the few headers related to delivery from Mailman to you. Also, if you have the 'prototype' archiver enabled, you will find the message with all headers up to the point,it was sent from Mailman in mailman's var/archives/prototype/LIST_ADDRESS/new/ directory. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B.
