As I understand Mailman3 does not "support" (by manual) > import right now? Mailman's 'bin/mailman import21' is the tool for this. It has a few issues. It doesn't import DMARC mitigation settings and I've seen one case out of several where it failed to import the list membership. I also once saw and reported <https://gitlab.com/mailman/mailman/issues/270>, but I've imported several lists subsequently without seeing that issue. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. And you can do it all with one command like ``` for list in `mailman lists |sed 1d`;do echo ">>> $list"; mailman members -R administrator $list done ``` -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. This will save some time and computing. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Dylan

Despite of my research I haven't figured out how > to do this using the GUI. With Postorius, you can do it by first setting the list's Automatic Responses -> Send goodbye message to No, and then doing the unsubscribe. From the command line, you can use the `mailman delmembers` command which has options to control the sending of the admin notice and the goodbye message. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. In the web admin UI, go to Auto-responder, set autorespond_postings to Yes and set your message in autoresponse_postings_text. You probably also want to set Privacy options... -> Sender filters -> member_moderation_action to Discard and on Membership Management... -> Membership List under Additional Member Tasks, set everyone moderated. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B.
