For each of the /var/lib/mailman3/queue/shunt/ entries there should be a corresponding log entry in mailman.log (guessing /var/log/mailman3/mailman.log) with the same timestamp logging the exception and traceback and a `SHUNTING` message. These exceptions and tracebacks will indicate what's happening. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Dylan

Somewhere I thought I read there is a facility in the Hyperkitty archive interface to format text. Probably I misunderstood, but if there is such a facility, I am not seeing it. Maybe I am looking for something like Tiny Ice and thus can't find it. Markdown rendering of message bodies in Hyperkitty is <https://gitlab.com/mailman/hyperkitty/merge_requests/160>. This is installed on <https://lists.mailman3.org/mailman3/> and <https://mail.python.org/mailman3> but is not yet released. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Did you read the note at the bottom of that article? Are you sure the message in your inbox is actually the message received from the list with the added headers and perhaps subject prefix and list footer, or is it just a copy of the message as you sent it? -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. I would be very grateful if anyone could help me figure out what is going on here. This should not be the case. Mailman removes some headers from posts to anonymous lists, but not X-Spam- headers even there. Are you sure you are looking at the raw message headers and not some MUAs rendition of them? I can think of no reason why Mailman would remove those headers. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Dylan

I.e. the list's Pass types is not empty and doesn't pass this message's content type. I'm guessing the message is multipart/signed and that's not allowed. Generally, you want to include 'multipart' in pass types to accept all multipart/* types and filter the sub-parts. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Editing the template in Postorius does not change the URI in the template table, so a subsequent retrieval still gets the old cached value. The task runner will delete the expired template the next time it runs but with default settings that's up to an hour later. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B.
