Do you mean that your mailman.cfg does not enable any archivers or something else? -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Yours is probably OK and it's probably not a translation issue. The `This message will be sent as: user(a)example.com Link another address` line is contingent on ``` {% if form.fields.sender.choices|length > 1 %} ``` so it is saying there is only one choice for sender which I think means there is only one address associated with your login. That still doesn't explain why it thinks you're not a list member. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. You need to give it a command to send > the file. Actually, what I said is not correct. The issue is you are just sending the data rather than engaging in an LMTP dialog. You need to send LMTP commands so you might prepend the message with ``` LHLO mymaillist.org MAIL FROM: <sender(a)example.com> RCPT TO: <all-request(a)mymaillist.org> DATA ``` and append to the message ``` . QUIT ``` -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Dylan

Also look in var/queue/shunt. You can examine messages you find there with `mailman qfile`. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Dylan

The above is not correct. The correct import is from mailman.model.mailinglist import MailingList i.e. model, not models and the arguments to MailingList are the list posting address, not the list-id. I.e. mlist = MailingList('list(a)example.com') and not mlist = MailingList('list.example.com') -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Yes, it was by design. Do you really think that list owners should be able to enable or disable mail delivery, set digest format, user's password, etc. for a user's subscription on lists that they don't own? -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Actually, there's more involved in the pipeline between the to_archive and to_outgoing handlers. The to-digest, to-usenet, after-delivery, acknowledge and dmarc handlers are all invoked between to_archive and to_outgoing -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B.
