These may be older. Currently, if probes are enabled, the score is set to 0 when the probe is sent. Otherwise the score is set to 0 when delivery is disabled. The score is never set to None. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Dylan

by Mark Sapiro

On 1/26/24 13:55, Mark Sapiro wrote: > > Yes, presumably because no one sets `XAPIAN_LONG_TERM_METHOD=hash` in > the environment. Do you have a reason for this? Actually, it's not an enviroment setting. It's a django setting XAPIAN_LONG_TERM_METHOD = 'hash' but in any case, I don't know why anyone would want that. What it does is rather than truncate a long term in the index, it replaces that term with a sha224 hash of the term, but that raises the question of how/why one would be searching for the hash rather than the term. -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. As an interim work around, if you wanted to send ALL bounces to the list owner instead of what little we currently do, at about line 65 in mailman/runners/rest.py, you'll see SUBADDRESS_NAMES = dict( admin='bounces', bounces='bounces', confirm='confirm', ... If you change the bounces='bounces', line to bounces='owner', that will cause all bounces to be just sent to the list owner(s). -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B.
