500 error on one list

Thanks Stephen and Mark for your replies. I have been able to identify a file in the shunt queue that threw a matching error when I performed mailman qfile on it. I moved this file out of the queue in the hope that I would then be able to load the held_messages page successfully. Unfortunately I am still seeing a 500 error on loading the page. I temporarily reenabled debug logging to confirm that the same error was being thrown. I have run a loop over all remaining files in the shunt queue and all the remaining files can be accessed by mailman qfile without error. Assuming that file was the cause are there other steps I need to perform in addition to removing the file from the shunt queue directory? If it's spam, you can just delete the file (and do whatever else you do about spam, of course). If it's not spam, it would help if you can guess what language and charset are being used in the message, and we can go from there. Each notification has to be arrowed through, so with the current setup you have to arrow twice to get to the option for the next tab. One better way of navigating the system once you get familiarity with the layout is to get the screen reader to show you all links on a page, then just use the arrow keys to get to the link you want. This doesn't repeat anything and is the way I was navigating in the end after getting familiar with the pages. Andrew.

We could implement a bind_address setting that would pass to gunicorns --bind parameter anything acceptable to gunicorn, although multiple values are tricky as they apparently require multiple -b/--bind options and a single -b/--bind doesn't support a list of values. You probably have verify = sender somewhere in your exim.conf, which is causing this. You can either modify the DEFAULT_FROM_EMAIL in your settings_local.py so that it is a real address that Exim can verify, or, you can remove verify = sender from your Exim configuration. 2nd option might not be the best if you want to properly combat spam. So i set THAT one to NO? allow_list_posts is the name of the attribute in Mailman core. It is exposed in Postorius as "Include the list post header". I.e., they are the same thing. Note however that unless your users are using MUAs to reply by email and their MUAs offer a "reply-list" function for replies to mailing list posts, this setting will make no difference.
