If I try to go to /lists/listname.example.com/unsubscription_requests<http://listname.example.com/unsubscription_requests> I get a 404, it looks like unsubscription_requests<http://listname.example.com/unsubscription_requests> isn’t in my urls.py list for Postorius? I strongly disagree with that statement. Distribution packages have their own up- and downsides. Of course, how they are done is to be discussed with the distribution, so: if something is wrong with a debian package, please follow the instructions on bugs.debian.org on reporting bugs. However, they have the advantage that they're integrated with the distribution. They have the disadvantage that they're stable for some time - that is why it's called a stable release. If they have all the features someone wants, they usually work fine (and my first mm3-installation was the default debian package). If one looks for bleeding edge, of course that's not what one can expect from a distribution package - but that's also a feature. Andi

And make sure at least this database has encoding UTF8 (and especially not SQL_ASCII). E.g. by adding -E UTF8 to the createdb call. Or call your createcluster with e.g. --locale de_DE.UTF-8. That's recommended also if you start directly with postgresql as backend BTW :) And then, just look where you get exceptions and keep on fixing until there are no anymore. And continue to look at your logfiles. Reenable connections sometimes during that and see what great exceptions can happen if e.g. lmtp doesn't recognire an list because there are non-ascii characters somewhere and your locale is broken (see above). ==>== Good luck. These messages come from some HyperKitty version between commit b415d29d6cc59b3270c35b03ba3313dd03450271 Mon Jun 21 00:11:48 2021 -0700 and commit c6272f3ef8375865382d0741d3d371a0dc41508a Fri Oct 8 06:32:06 2021 +0000 They do not come from HyperKitty 1.3.5 but from something later than 1.3.4 which makes be think your mailman-hyperkitty version is not 1.2.0 either. On a side note I have been experimenting with using underlying Debian packages for some of the Python dependencies and using the --system-site-packages option when creating the venv to simplify installation and reduce the number of compilation tools required on the system.
