I'm expirencing the same behaviour in Postorius. Is it possible to set a default timezone for new users? Already set it in settings_local.py but not having any effect, still seeing "Africa/Abidajin" in new users.

OK thanks, I solved it by creating the paths /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/mailman/locale/it/LC_MESSAGES /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/django_mailman3/locale/it/LC_MESSAGES /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/postorius/locale/it/LC_MESSAGES /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/hyperkitty/locale/it/LC_MESSAGES Then I run this command: sudo msgfmt django.po -o django.mo Thank You for your support Max

Change language to welcome message in mailman3

Hi everyone, My Version installed on Debian buster: mailman3: 3.2.1 postorius: 1.2.4 hyperkitty: 1.2.2 All interfaces work well in Italian language, but "Welcome message" is in English. I'm trying to change the language to the "Welcome message" with mailman shell, but it doesn't work sudo mailman shell -l test(a)pratico.work >>>m.preferred_language='it' >>>commit() >>>CTRL-D This is my file /etc/mailman3/mailman-web.py LANGUAGE_CODE = 'it-IT' TIME_ZONE = 'Europe/Rome' USE_I18N = False USE_L10N = True USE_TZ = True Would anyone know how to do it? Mailman REST API not available. Please start Mailman core.

Okay, so I got the webservice of Mailman3 up and running, but when I go to mailman3/postorius/lists/, I get the following error: Something went wrong Mailman REST API not available. Please start Mailman core. When I logged in to the admin user, it threw a server 500 error, but I could refresh and see myself logged in. If I try to go to lists or mailman settings, however, I get the error above.

I already have ruby-sass installed and the compress command used to work as expected prior to my upgrading to the latest core, postorius, hyperkitty versions using pip in my venv. Does It matter at all when performing the Django-admin commands whether I've activated the venv or not? I think I've tried running them both activated and deactivated to no avail, but any other suggestions?
