I see the issue. when mailmanclient processes the delete request from
Postorius it calls the REST API DELETE method with the URL
lists/<listname>/<role>/<address> and the address is `quoted` with
urllib.parse.quote_plus, co in this case, the URL becomes
lists/<listname>/nonmember/z_email%2Fdomain.org.za(a)domain.org.za
This is all fine except the REST API doesn't call
urllib.parse.unquote_plus to change the %2F back to slash. This is now
reported at <https://gitlab.com/mailman/mailman/-/issues/774>.

You can do all of that, but it's probably unnecessary. What is in
/opt/mailman/venv/lib/python3.11/site-packages/mailman_web/urls.py?
compare it to

This is https://gitlab.com/mailman/postorius/-/issues/13 which is a real
need, but doesn't yet exist.
I think the easiest thing for the archives is to forget the Mailman web
DB and just export the archive as a mbox from the other site (if it's
large, exporting the entire archive will time out so you have to do it
in pieces). Then you can use hyperkitty_import to import it.
For the list data, it's probably easiest to just create the list
manually and go through the settings in Postorius and make them match,
although you could dump the mailinglist table entry where list_id =
'users(a)domainx.name' and load that, but you'd need to edit the id field
in the dump to match the id on your server. That leaves the members.
Doing this with a DB dump/load would be very complex because while the
member table has a list_id field which is the id of the list's entry in
the mailinglist table and can be used to select the relevant members,
these records also link to entries in the address, preferences and user
tables and matching them would be an issue.
I think a custom script would be required. If I were doing this, I would
make a separate database on my server with a copy of the data from the
other server and then try to make a script that would extract data from
the other database and add it to mine.
Alternatively you could just dump the members from the other servers
with the `mailman members` command perhaps separately for regular and
the different digest types and then add them with the `mailman
addmembers` command. This wouldn't get all their attributes, but it
could work.

Nope, the virtual machine is dedicated to Mailman3. Mailman3 as venv, uwsgi as Webservice, Apache as Webserver, Postfix as Mailserver and PostgreSQL 10 als Database, all on the same host

Should be provided on the top of the mail.
At moment i think its a slow database. Because of the slow database, the Mailman API is slow and so on. We are trying now to solve the database part with postgresqltuner - maybe we will see more details then.

Python). I can't be more specific about problems, and you'd hope that
such stuff would "just work", but that might at least explain Mailman
looking for stuff in "wrong places" (which might actually be right for
Homebrew).

REST API for list owners/moderators

No. You can provide selective access to a selection of REST API
endpoints via a front-end webserver such as Apache or nginx, but it
would be rather painful, and possibly also rather insecure.[1]

That's right. If the documentation only "indicates" that, we should
fix the documentation. The point of separating Postorius from core
was to put authentication and authorization in the hands of people who
know how to do it (ie, Django).

endpoint hierarchy is designed to make sense to application
programmers, not to make it easy to disable access to "dangerous"
endpoints that allow deleting lists or extracting user information.

Actually, there is no 1.2.5. The next release after 1.2.4 is 1.3.0, but
you can still set preferred_language for the list using the REST API or
mailman shell.
For example in mailman shell
