Any tips? Cheers, David

In recent Postorius (>= 1.2.4), pull down the Subscription requests menu and select Pending Confirmation. Then find and delete the request. Because mailman-web 0.0.5 has in its setup.cfg ``` install_requires = Django<3.1 ``` try ``` pip install -U git+https://gitlab.com/mailman/mailman-web.git ``` to get the latest mailman-web whose Django requirement is ``` install_requires = django >=2.2, !=3.0, <4 ``` -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. mailman 3.x upgrade and downgrade

by skooperit＠gmail.com

Hi all, I have a few contradictory questions. 1. How to upgrade the 3.x version? 2. Is it possible to migrate (downgrade) the lists from mailman 3.x to 2.1? 3. If so, what would be the best way to do that? My mailing list server is running on a CenOS-7x with postgreSQL and the following mailman packages: django-mailman3 1.3.5 mailman 3.3.2 mailman-hyperkitty 1.1.0 mailman-web 0.0.3 mailmanclient 3.3.2 postorius 1.3.3 We have ~200 lists with more than a decade of history. thanks -- Carlos Souza

Re: Can't Start Mailman3 Core on Fresh Install

by Mail Person

Ok, I've got more progress. The initial server error was fixed by re-running the configurations for mailman3 and mailman3-web. I believe an error occurred because I changed the passwords for the mailman3 users and only updated them in the cfg files in /etc/mailman3 and they must be stored somewhere else. Now the web interface shows as working, but it is showing "example.com" and when I go to sign-in with the postorius super user, I get a server error.

What's in your Django log? What is your setting for `SITE_ID` in your Django settings. This determines which Django `sites` table entry is displayed.
