Question about lists and domains on Mailman 3

by Philip Colmer

I've got a single server hosting multiple domains. I've got Apache working as the proxy in front of MM3. Regardless of whether I go to https://lists.domainA.org/mailman3/lists/ or https://lists.domainB.org/mailman3/lists/, Postorius lists ALL of the lists across both domains. Is there a way of configuring the system so that, if a user goes to "domain A", only the lists for that domain are listed? Thanks. Philip

Bingo. Thank you for this, and for helping so many MM users. Re: Howto: Mass import of nonmembers in several lists?

by Paul Paulchen

Hi Mark, thanks for the reply. Found myself a solution. Its already there in the settings of via webfront postorius => settings -> message acceptance -> id_accept_these_nonmembers. That is all I wanted, and what we used in MM2. We were just confused by the description. Pewh, no scripting or modifying :). Bye.

Issues 968 and 969 respectively request a new base URL variable and the inclusion of URLs in templates. https://gitlab.com/mailman/mailman/-/issues/968 https://gitlab.com/mailman/mailman/-/issues/969 Thanks very much for all your helpful thoughts on this. dn

You can disable it entirely with [archiver.prototype] enabled: no If it is enabled, you can then enable/disable it list by list in Postorius Settings -> Archiving -- Mark Sapiro <mark(a)msapiro.net> The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, California better use your sense - B. Help needed with email deliverability to our list

by Terry Earley

We are looking to hire someone to help us with email deliverability. We are running MM3 Postorius Version 1.3.4. We are having too many bounces, causing cancellations. Our IP address is likely on one or more spam lists even though our list has never sent any spam and every post is moderated. We need help resolving all email deliverability issues. We are seeking professional help and we are willing to pay fair rates. Experts only please. Terry Earley FitEyes

Template Ignored?

by Stephen Daniel

Mailman3 people -- I created a new list, and used postorius to create a template for " list:user:notice:welcome". I then used the mass subscription feature to add myself to the list, having checked "pre-confirmed", "pre-approved", and "pre-verified". I received a welcome message that appears to be the default welcome message. It certainly wasn't what I put into my template. Any suggestions on how I get mailman to use my template? Things I might be doing wrong? Thanks! -- Steve

Thanks for the response, I solved it with a simple proxy.server instead scgi.server.
