Bingo. Adding location statements for hyperkitty and postorius and restarting Nginx cleared the issue. Unclear why this ever worked before the upgrade. I don't remember monkeying with a urls.py file. Anyway, it works now. Help with installing Postorius and Hyperkitty on Ubuntu 19

I'm new to Mailman. I have a Ubuntu 19 production server. I attempted to get Mailman 3 and the web components going with the system packages, but I encountered a few showstopper errors (such as indexing not working at all) which I know have been fixed in the codebase. To that end I erased my installation, and installed mailman from the gitlab source. That all works much more nicely now and I feel I have a lot more control of the layout of all the files (the various Ubuntu packages smear the parts all over the place, confusingly). Now I want to get Postorius and Hyperkitty going again, independently of Ubuntu packages. I would like to run Postorius and Hyperkitty under one Django project. So I downloaded the git source for mailman_web. I do not know if this is the right way to install. I am partially familiar with Django, but to come to the point, I have no idea once having obtained the source from git how to setup and install the project, where it lives in the filesystem, and so on. Are there any pointers to help in this area? The very nice readthedocs format files for Postorius and Hyperkitty are very silent on basic matters like this, which is not of much help! The git README files also define a new level of brevity. I need some initial hand holding here. If any help is forthcoming, such as links to more full documentation for newbies to Mailman, I would be most grateful.

Postorius & multi domain

Hi, on a fresh debian 10 (mail server) I added mailman3 with: apt-get install mailman3-full dpkg-reconfigure mailman3 dpkg-reconfigure mailman3-web The server name is webserver-A Then I log in in webserver-A/mailman3 as a superuser I created a domain for webserver-A and domain-A The I created a list-A Then I created a second domain for webserver-B and domain-B Then I added to apache config a virtual host for webserver-B I log in webserver-B as the some superuser of webserver-A and I created a list-B But when I list the lists I can see both under webserver-A and webserver-B. The some problem with archiving hyperkitty. I search internet for a while and I discovered that using FILTER_VHOST = True seems to solve the problem. >From posotrius config page: FILTER_VHOST Filter the list of available lists in Postorius and Hyperkitty depending on the domain they are being currently served from. Mailman 3 supports multiple domains in a single installation. But it doesn't work. I got err 500 form apache. Were can I find an explanation or a how to configure the system to have 2 webserver with different domains working on the some server as it was with mailman 2? P.S.: I upgrade postorius to V. 1.3.2 and djando V 2.2.12 using the packages in testing distribution. The debian 10 official postorius package is too old (1.2.24) and does not support FILTER_VHOST Thanks in advance - -- Gelpi ing. Time Zone Issue in Postorius

Hello, I'm encountering an error that sounds similar to this previous thread: https://lists.mailman3.org/archives/list/mailman-users@mailman3.org/message… I've tried setting my TIME_ZONE to 'UTC' in my settings.py and settings_local.py files (and restarting Mailman), but when I check the datetime for a held message in Postorius, the datetime seems to be pushed +8 hours unexpectedly. My Postorius account time zone is set to "US/Pacific". As a workaround, I might be able to find a "wrong" time zone that would possibly reduce the unintentional additional hours difference and show the "correct" time zone in Postorius for the "Held Messages" page, but I don't think this is the right way to fix the issue. I think I've tried setting the TIME_ZONE setting to "America/Los_Angeles" in my settings.py file in place of 'UTC' in the past, but the result was still different than expected. Does anyone know if there are other places besides the mailman settings.py and settings_local.py files where something needs to be set so that I don't get an unintentional extra +8 hours of time difference when looking at messages on the "Held Messages" page of a mailing list? Hi, After upgrading my PostgreSQL from 9.2 to 9.6, I was able to up postorius container. But when I try to open UI, I'm getting 500 Internal Server Error all the time - either for /postorius/lists/ as well as for /admin/. I've checked all the logs but haven't found anything there which can bring some light at the issue. Just error 500... I've checked: - nginx logs: just error 500 - mailman-web docker container logs: no errors - mailman-web (postorius) logs: mailmanweb.log is empty, uwsgi*.log with some errors - mailman-core logs: no errors I've also called curl localhost:8000 from inside the mailman-web container and got the same 500 Internal Server Error. Could you guys advise what else should I check?
