Happy Monday everyone.
Are there any plans to include the ability to attach files via the web interface? Or did I miss something?
Thanks, Brian

Hi Brian,
Does MM3 have an option to send e-mail to a list via the web UI?

Well Hyperkitty allows you to post to a list via its interface if that is what you are asking. I now mostly interact with this list via its web interface. I guess I have been converted. Boy are those Mailman 3 guys sneaky!!!
There is also a "Use email software" button that you can click on when using the web interface to view/browser threads.

There are no current plans for this that I am aware of. You can always file an RFE issue at <https://gitlab.com/mailman/hyperkitty/issues/>

Thanks Mark. I went ahead and did that. What does RFE stand for?

This one is not GSoC'able by itself, right, Abhilash? But it seems a little bigger than a minimal "can you submit a PR" test. Anybody know if there are some other "buttons" we should put into the "post from HyperKitty" UI that we could bundle up as a GSoC task?
Maybe this weekend I'll go through the tracker and start tagging in preparation for a GSoC application. Of course we'll decide later if we have enough mentors etc, but I think this is worth doing anyway (updating the "easy" bugs, etc) even if we don't apply for GSoC this year.
Steve
How about including a small wysiwyg editor as part of the posting window? For tasks such as bold, italics, creating a hyperlink, etc.

It is definitely bigger than "can you submit a PR" test. Not sure if there are more things that needs to be added to the Hyperkitty UI yet, I would love to get some feedback from users who actually use the web ui.

I do want us to apply this year, will send out an email and see how many mentors do we have available and then decide if we should be applying separately or under PSF.
