Localisation of web interface gone after OS upgrade
Dear all,
I just upgraded our server from Ubuntu 20.04 to 22.04. Mailman is installed in virtualenv, so it shouldn't be affected by the upgrade. Am I right about that?
However, the strange thing is that most, albeit not all of the localisation is gone, the web interface is now mostly in English.
Still, I reinstalled venv, mailman and hyperkitty, but no change.
I also re-ran the four commands
- mailman-web migrate
- mailman-web collectstatic
- mailman-web compress
- mailman-web compilemessages
just to be sure, but that didn't change things either.
Is there something in Ubuntu 22.04 that kills the localisation?
Thanks!
Johannes
I just moved the entire venv directory out of the way and reinstalled venv, mailman, mailman-web/hyperkitty and uwsgi. Now it is back to normal.
