The User object is created. User records don't get confirmed, the addresses that are attached to them get confirmed.

Some of the object records have creation timestamps in the SQL database, but they are not exposed in the web UI. They're not very interesting to human beings and take up a lot of UI space, even if you only display the date. Also, I'm not sure whether the core database records timestamps, although I'm pretty sure Django does for both creation and confirmation.
