bouncing mail commands
Hi all,
when a subscribtion confirmation is sent to MM it replies a bounce mail about unknown commands in the mail.
This is very confusing for the users / subscribers and I'd like to disable this function. Actually our users do not need to send commands in the subject and in the body. So responding to words that are unknown commands is not helpful.
Currently I have Postfix header and body checks in place that discard this messages from MM to avoid bothering our users.
But how can MM3 be configured not to respond to unknown commands or not to parse the mail for commands at all?
Thank you for your help and kind regards,
Uri Liebeskind

This is <https://gitlab.com/mailman/mailman/issues/516>, fixed by <https://gitlab.com/mailman/mailman/merge_requests/422> for messages to the -join (-subscribe), -leave (-unsubscribe), and -confirm addresses.
For a message to the -request address with a 'confirm' command in the subject or body, this is trickier because by design, messages to the -request address can contain multiple commands, but this should not be a problem because the confirmation request is From: the -confirm address so the confirming reply should go there and not to the -request address.
