How does your MTA deliver to Mailman? If you are using one of the Postfix or Exim configurations described at <https://docs.mailman3.org/projects/mailman/en/latest/src/mailman/docs/mta.html>, things should work, but in any case, for every list you need to deliver all of the following to Mailman:
