Email Address Registration Confirmation
Hello, this is the GNU Mailman server at example.com.
We have received a registration request for the email address
user@example.com
Before you can start using GNU Mailman at this site, you must first confirm that this is your email address. You can do this by replying to this message.
Or you should include the following line -- and only the following line -- in a message to ham-request@example.com:
confirm c56ac3f61561fc11239897d602956f62b3ca5670
Note that simply sending a `reply' to this message should work from most mail readers.
If you do not wish to register this email address, simply disregard this message. If you think you are being maliciously subscribed to the list, or have any other questions, you may contact
ham-owner@example.com

This is an MTA question. What is your MTA? How does it deliver to Mailman. As I said in my reply at <https://lists.mailman3.org/archives/list/mailman-users@mailman3.org/message/...>, you need to deliver all of
LISTNAME@example.com LISTNAME-bounces@example.com LISTNAME-confirm@example.com LISTNAME-join@example.com LISTNAME-leave@example.com LISTNAME-owner@example.com LISTNAME-request@example.com LISTNAME-subscribe@example.com LISTNAME-unsubscribe@example.com
for every list.

How does your MTA deliver to Mailman? If you are using one of the Postfix or Exim configurations described at <https://docs.mailman3.org/projects/mailman/en/latest/src/mailman/docs/mta.ht...>, things should work, but in any case, for every list you need to deliver all of the following to Mailman:
LISTNAME@example.com LISTNAME-bounces@example.com LISTNAME-confirm@example.com LISTNAME-join@example.com LISTNAME-leave@example.com LISTNAME-owner@example.com LISTNAME-request@example.com LISTNAME-subscribe@example.com LISTNAME-unsubscribe@example.com
