Is it possible to change the default value for list visibility? Sometime when my list admins create a new list they forget to check that they should be hidden, I think that should be the default value anyway because its a potentially security issue when a list is unwanted visible...

It is not yet respected by Postorius, which chooses the first option in the list as the default one, but you can set the default-style in Core. If you want to help fix this, there is an open issue1 about it on the bug tracker.
