Is it possible yet to install Mailman 3 for Ubuntu 22.04?
Is it possible yet to install Mailman 3 for Ubuntu 22.04?
If not, will it be possible in the near future? Thanks.

Yes. We recommend following the instructions at <https://docs.mailman3.org/en/latest/install/virtualenv.html> but there are also Debian/Ubuntu packages. You can install the mailman3-full package with apt. This will install Mailman core as well as the Postorius and HyperKitty web packages, but the versions are several releases old.

Thanks for the info! Mailman-full won't install using apt on Ubuntu 22.04, because it was removed. This was due to the fact that version of mailman-full in the Ubuntu repository didn't support python 3.10.
I didn't find your instruction link, because the first hit when searching google for mailman installation, shows me this link instead:
https://docs.mailman3.org/projects/mailman/en/latest/src/mailman/docs/instal...
I now see that the link you gave me, shows up after that one. I guess I should have kept clicking! Thanks. - Mark
I can confirm the virtualenv method. It works well on all Debian derived systems like Ubuntu, and you are independent of the package release cycle of the distribution. My system works on Debian 11, Mailman3, MariaDb, uwsgi, Apache, Postfix. No problems so far.

I have at least 200 subscribers all total across 5 mailing lists. I wanted to reset the password for a user I have made a moderator for one particular list. When I went into /admin/account/emailaddress/ I only see two dozen email addresses, not including the one I wish to change. What's going on?
Thank you in advance!

List members are not shown in there. Only those who have signed up via the web UI.

Hi.
The issue is still unresolved with the Ubuntu 22.04 packages. This is because when Ubuntu 22.04 shipped it came with Python 3.10 and the Mailman version that supports Python 3.10 3.3.8 wasn't released.
Here is a bug on the Ubuntu side about this: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mailman3/+bug/1999197
The instructions posted to this list to get Mailman running in a venv work fine with Ubuntu 22.04 and Python 3.10 and is what I am using for a couple of hosts. My own view is there are too many moving parts for the distro packages to keep track of, so I will do that myself using the venv and let the distro manage the system packages.
There are newer Debian packages available in Debian testing, but they don't seem to have been migrated over to Ubuntu 22.04 yet, possibly they are in 23.04 and those versions could be used (unsure).
