Yes, I think so, but it could be that I'm missing something here. I double check this tomorrow as for your answer It seems there is no ulterior process as with messages.
It was it. The list I was using to test the messages and templates was not configured as "spanish". It's a test list that I newly configured when I migrated to mailman3.
I've just suscribed a new member in other list and the notification is using the spanish template I translated.
