How do I turn off the social logins?
I looked in the admin manual but
They are not working, but I absolutely do not want them for now. Maybe one day, but my users will be allergic to even the hint....

A gentleman suggested offlist that...
Hi,
You can apply in your settings.py:
INSTALLED_APPS = ( 'hyperkitty', ....... 'allauth', 'allauth.account', 'allauth.socialaccount', # 'django_mailman3.lib.auth.fedora', # 'allauth.socialaccount.providers.openid', # 'allauth.socialaccount.providers.github', # 'allauth.socialaccount.providers.gitlab', # 'allauth.socialaccount.providers.google', # #'allauth.socialaccount.providers.facebook', # 'allauth.socialaccount.providers.twitter', # 'allauth.socialaccount.providers.stackexchange', )
Do not comment 'allauth.socialaccount', but comment the providers 'allauth.socialaccount.providers.google'.
This worked perfectly.
I am not sure why I still want to have allauth.socialaccount but I am happy for now
