Hello to all:
Trying to install mailman3 for the first time on Debian 12 virtual machine. I tried to search for relevant and related posts, but could not find any.
I'm following along the documentation and I get stuck after this step https://docs.list.org/en/latest/install/virtualenv.html#setup-mailman-user
I'm finding that there's a problem while trying to edit /etc/mailman3/mailman.cfg
The instructions https://docs.list.org/en/latest/install/virtualenv.html#installing-mailman-c... do not say what to do with existing file.
root@shackleton12:~# ls -alF /etc/mailman3/mailman.cfg -rw-r--r-- 1 root list 11119 Mar 20 11:45 /etc/mailman3/mailman.cfg
Should we move the /etc/mailman3/mailman.cfg out of the way and create new file as user and group mailman:mailman ?
