Here's something Mark pointed out in another thread: frequently if one list isn't working while everything else does, it's because list configuration data is inaccessible due to permissions or ownership. Check if the ownership or permissions are different for particular files, especially if they're related to the non-working list(s). This will only take a few minutes to find and fix if it's the problem, I think.
