This is very unlikely. A very large portion of the mail processed at Mailman sites has "-- " in it because that is the conventional "start of .signature" marker, and much of that is multipart and even signed nowadays, yet we've never seen a problem with it.

That message has no defects.
In particular, it has no Content-Transfer-Encoding in the header of any multipart part, which is the defect reported before. I guess there's no list of defects either in the returned message or in the MTA logs?
It seems strange that the message has no Received headers. Is this normal for aip.de address to aip.de address mail? Or is it a sent file copy of the sender or something like that?
