[MM3-users] Why is it so difficult to setup Mailman3?

I've been using Mailman2 for probably 20 years, and recently I've been looking to move up to Mailman3 on an Ubuntu system.

I think I've got the mailing list core part working, but the instructions for setting up the web part(s) are either inscrutable or incomplete, if not both.

Is this just a rite of passage?
