One more thought. Output from these cron jobs written to stdout and/or stderr will be emailed. You can control to where with a
MAILTO=...line in the crontab. Otherwise, they will be mailed to the owner of the crontab, probablylistor mayberoot. Check your MTA logs from 23:00+ to see if any emails are sent and to where.
