Hi, Paul. For configuration, I would recommend to create separate list with own addresses only, and to play a little.
Thanks, but I am on hosted and cannot afford to create other lists. Just wanted to see what others did, or what Mailman 2 or 3 recommends. I am using https://www.emwd.com/mailman-3-shared-list-hosting/.
I am not expert. I started to use DMARK option in
mailman version 2. Because I started to get issues with the Yahoo members. Yahoo stopped to deliver messages from the list, when "reply to" was list address. DMARK made change in "From:" Messages started to come for example from: "Paul via list" list@example.com. You should use setup good to your case,
Ah, I remember when we had that issue with a group I was hosting on Mailman 2. So maybe that is what I did. I guess to avoid problems with Yahoo and Gmail etc., it would be ok to use DMARC option.
It there a place where I can read about all the options?
then the latter part of my question had to do with DMARC MITIGATIONS. I do not understand the difference between selecting DMARC in ALTER MESSAGES and the choices available in DMARC MITIGATIONS. an you advice what settings to use or recommend a place where I can read about these? I currently have REPLACE FROM: with list and YES OR NO I have NO.
Thanks!!!
